I want him to say this is a station wagon.

I wish it was said that this is a generic o2. I wanted it to fit at the factory so I wouldn't have to rebuild it, the instructions weren't very good.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • So far so good

RECOMMENDED USED PART: Oxygen

Rec. Ordered 2 pieces. But 1 has been opened up, apparently a used part with dirt and grease on the threads, missing instructions and plugs and the wires have been severed. The second identical part number was intact in the original sealed packaging.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Safety

Fits perfectly, solved my emissions test problem

I installed this on my 1999 Chevy Tracker and it fitted perfectly. Since my tracker comes with California anti-smog gear, this oxygen sensor was the right part for the job. After installation I cleared all fault codes and drove the car over 450 miles with no fault codes repeating. I am very pleased with the ease of installation and the fact that Tracker now passes the smog test.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Good but not great

Generic replacement scrap

This sales advert is misleading. There is nothing OE in it. This is a generic replacement and comes without a connector. Although the indicator does indeed say universal, there is NO MENTION that you need to either cut the connector out of your existing O2 sensor or purchase a replacement factory connector and screw on. Spend a few bucks more and go elsewhere, trust me you will be grateful to me in the long run. It's not worth your time, effort, or money.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

My problem with oxygen was solved

Had a repeating CEL (code was P0420) on Outback 02 for the catalytic converter, even after replacement. I knew it was probably the downstream O2 sensor, but I still got CEL after replacing it twice. After a bit of work I found that at one point someone had mixed up the connector on the side of the car, but I couldn't find a connection even after running the wires through the engine compartment. With this generic sensor, I was able to cut off the defective sensor's connector and then reconnect…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
