🚲 Deore XT Rear Derailleur, 11-Speed, Black: Optimize Your Bike's Gear Shifting Performance Review

Bought with Shimano Deore XT SL-M8000 and XT CS-M8000 cassette to convert my single speed to 1x11 - I was very happy with the whole setup. This switch was easy to install and set up. With over 1,000 miles on roads, gravel and trails, it still needs to be adjusted. Quiet, smooth operation. Highly recommended.

Replacement of the same derailleur. The previous one held more than 3 years of fun mountain biking. And then I hit hard on a rock. I don't think the most expensive gear would be much better. I have some of this XT gear on my bike and have always been happy with it. Easy install, easy setup and I'm back on the mountain trails. I can recommend this device and will buy it again.

Upgraded 2x9 to 1x11. It was so easy to set up and set up. Solid and accurate! With the clutch closed, downshifting is a bit more difficult, but very slight. I'm not a bike guru but take your time, set your high/low limits, leave a twist and a half on the shift knob before tightening the cable. Shift into high gear, lock the cable and GO! While running, make a 1/4 turn on the shifter. 15 minutes. DONE!

not the latest but i didnt want more cogs anyway so for what i need it came at an affordable price. xt is as good as it gets for me. xtr costs more and the weight difference is small. You need a shifter (be careful as there are two types, the one that mounts to shimano brakes and one that doesn't fit and a couse xt 11 speed cassette that fits better performance. If you have money need to save, choose SLX speeds 11) Cassette as it is a great replacement

My bike came with an 11 speed SLX rear derailleur and after a few years of service it lost the battle with the rock and had to be scrapped. I was about to buy another SLX but couldn't find one in stock so I spent a few bucks more on an XT.
