I ordered these for my aquarium and they fit me perfectly. I put respiratory biology ring, activated carbon, far infrared bacteria ball and so on to make my fish tank cleaner. My favorite Poecilia reticulata are doing very well.

These bags are great for storing different filter materials. However, if you're looking for something that contains Seachem Purigen, this won't work. The best bag is a little rougher to hold something thin like perigee. Apart from this great product and as advertised.

These were perfect for putting cartridges in my filter to lower the ammonia levels in my tank. My only major criticism is that these packs are quite large. So if you don't have a big filter, you can only use 1-2 per filter. The zips are plastic so I'm not sure about strength or durability but they won't rust the tank.

I don't know what aquarium you would use them for. They are huge! Doesn't fit my filter at all. I had to order smaller packages. The quality is good and so is the zipper but they are sooo long. I should have checked the measurements before buying. my fault But it won't fit in a standard aquarium, even if you try to wrap and fold it. Also, my filter has a middle section that it also got stuck on.

These filter bags are well made and the sturdy plastic zipper makes it easy to change filter media without worrying about possible rust causing water quality problems. As seen in the pictures, the mesh is quite thin so you don't have to worry about small media slipping. My only concern is that the fine mesh may reduce flow through the filter, although I have no evidence of this.

Slightly larger than expected but after a few days they worked, blacks released dye into my tank and my filter turned black mind you I just cleaned the tank. So I changed the water and filtered again the next day, this time the same thing happened, it killed my angelfish. Everything changed again, new black bags, everything turned black, the fish lost their place. I don't use the other bags, please be careful when you buy them, they're the only thing we did differently when cleaning the tank.

I use these for ceramic rings, charcoal, zeolite and matrix. They are NOT suitable for Purigen due to the larger hole size. The zippers are durable and made of plastic so they won't rust. I shake the charcoal in the pouch while rinsing it out, and these pouches don't feel like they will rip or tear under that kind of stress. These are strong and durable bags. I highly recommend them.
