Never look for a place in front of the cooler again. The fan can be quite noisy, so keep that in mind when figuring out your location.

This cooler is awesome Install it on a f150 fx4 with a 424hp 4r75e powertrain. Even when turned off, I can not say that the transmission has warmed up to more than 160 degrees. BIG cooler. Make sure you have a relay kit.

Fits and works perfectly on a 1997 F350 PowerJoke PowerStroke 2wd with an e40d transmission that squirted fluid when heated. Basically, when your transmission gets hot, your seal goes soft and spews transmission oil all over the place. Get one of these quickly before your car bursts into flames. ATF is highly flammable if it gets into the exhaust. You can also purchase a Derale transmission cooling pan.

During the transition from the TH400 to the TH200R4 I ran a fluid line from the transmission to the filter and then through the static cooler at the front of the car. Since this is a show car and sits idle a lot during parades, I decided to add this Derale Hyper-Cool as an extra safety margin before the fluid returns to the transmission.
