Derale 16789 Amperage Controller Thread Review

1 WEEK CONTROLLER DEFECTIVE, SECOND SENSOR DEFECTIVE 2 WEEKS, 2ND CONTROLLER DEFECTIVE IN BOX, SECOND FAN WILL NOT TURN ON. THIS UNIT CANNOT BE USED IN A HEAD WITH SIDE PLUG AND CABLES. IT IS NOT THERMALLY OR ELECTRICALLY PROTECTED AGAINST EMERGENCIES AT THIS LOCATION. TRIED TO USE THE SECOND ONE PURCHASED ON AMAZON IN THE THERMOSTAT HOUSING BUT IT DID NOT INCLUDE THE SECOND FAN. TALK TO ERIK IN DERALE AND HE SHOULD GUARANTEE BUT DID NOT.

I found the product well made, but it is not waterproof, you need to install it in a place where it will not get wet. Another problem I found is a lock or switch AC only turns on a fan that my application is in. I wanted both fans to turn on with a lock, the switch is set and the Jeep 83 climbs rocks and I need the cooling fans to turn on at high RPM and at low RPM the fan turns on automatically but I would one prefer full overdrive

Most unfortunate is that two devices have failed with different symptoms and the manufacturer wasn't very helpful when we called or didn't seem to care. I asked them to convince me to try the third block. Their best response was to blame my courier for mishandling the shipment because the devices are triple checked at the factory.
