Pretty easy to install, the only problem I have is that the hook is quite short so it doesn't always snag and snap to the plate. You have to move the breech to engage it (at least for me), but it's solid in terms of build quality.

I was so happy to find this replacement door handle in my guest bathroom. I changed the fixings to oiled bronze and this grip fits PERFECTLY. It installs in minutes and looks amazing! Fresh paint, some oil on the rollers and I have what looks like a brand new door! Love it!

It came in an unlined envelope and was fine even after I dropped the package. It was cheaper and easier to install than the one I bought from the store and returned, and it even came with instructions.

The bolt was bent in several places. It's easy to bend, but that's not necessarily good for a latch. It was easy to install, but once installed, the hook became difficult to use. And the instructions are not good as they don't give any information on how to set up the operation. (Or even which way to install it.) It looks nice and all the installation hardware was included.

As with any door lock, it and the hasp must be aligned in order to work. It's likely that another reviewer who had alignment issues has issues with the notched door itself not matching the jam it closes against. The color is much lighter, "coppery" than any other oiled bronze item I have in my house, although I think maybe right.
