🚪 Satin Nickel 6x34 Kick Plate by Designers Impressions: 609421 - Elevating Door Protection with Style Review

This protective plate arrived damaged, one corner was bent and one screw was missing. It's definitely inferior to the ones you can buy at Home Depot or Lowe's for a few bucks more.

Easy to install. Decent quality for the price. Used to protect my X5 when driving from California to Washington with two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. He approached but wanted him to close the passenger doors. Even when it was used to cover the back of the front seats, it was constantly coming loose at the headrest.

This size is hard to find in stores (6x34). Pretty weak, definitely thinner than the one it replaced, but not a deal breaker. The downside I have is the plastic wrap covering the finished side. After removing, it leaves a sticky film in some places and strange stains all over the surface. We are discussing the issue of a return and looking further.

The footpeg was carefully packaged and shipped and arrived in good condition. The processing was flawless as the demo page is covered with a plastic seal. I didn't remove the gasket until all the screws were in place and almost tight. The holes matched the previous panel and it was easy to replace. The electric screwdriver was a big plus during installation. Use some wood/metal/sealant glue to secure the connection.

Well, what can you do wrong with a footrest? It turns out there is room for improvement in this price range, but it assembles quickly and looks really good. The packaging was not suitable for the sender. The pouch was bent and the plate was bent but not wrinkled. A careful bend back gave me a baseplate that was flat enough to go forward and mount despite the flimsy compound. For the price, I wish the pre-drilled mounting holes were flared (concave) so the mounting screws could be more flush. In
