ATTENTION DO NOT BUY

Never buy bushings of this brand! 10,000 km driven and the hub has snapped in half. Then I took the other side apart and it was the same but with the axle held together.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Interval

Product Defect in Bearings

This part was installed on a 2008 4x4 Silverado by an ASE certified mechanic. It only drove about 250 miles before the ABS sensor failed. This caused the ABS and brake lights to flash intermittently on the dash. Choose the best product like ACDelco or Moog.

Pros
  • Rugged Construction
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Get what you pay for.

Good price but only lasted a year. To get a warranty replacement I had to buy a new one and send the old one back. They did not provide me with a return label. Never bothered to return it. The new one lasted about 3 months. Didn't bother. Went with Timken

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Hard to say

Easy installation on a 2008 Suburban.

This worked great on my 2008 Suburban (LTZ). The wires and terminals are all in the same place as the ones I replaced. I've only ridden about 10,000 miles on this hub but so far so good. It's crazy how much they charge for the job, although honestly it's not difficult to do it yourself if you have the DIY skills. They would cost over $300 at the store to replace this. Huge money savings!

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Fade

not just not for spares

junk hubs both sides replaced more than twice driver side 1st lasted 20k or so 2nd lasted 15k miles so completely replaced 3rd time with another brand complete passenger side lasted 30k Miles Changed to another make I redid the entire front end (thought I'd be proactive as my suburb had 120,000 miles) with junk in it and now I'm paying the price, bushings, ball joints and upper wishbones are all due, rebuilt . DON'T BUY THIS JUNK, SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY QUALITY PARTS!

Pros
  • good product for the price
Cons
  • expensive

Quality product good for a wheel

People say cheap hubs like these don't last long but the last Detroit brand hub I bought for my other GMC lasted 5 years, until I sold the truck with no problems. If you use huge wheels and tires, they might not last as long, but it's the same for everyone. GM didn't intend for these trucks to be monster trucks. If you go down this route, you'll need to do a lot of maintenance regardless of the brand you buy. Buy a Timken if you plan on hitting your truck or they'll get the job done. Also use…

So far so good.: Impeller

When it arrived I was briefly concerned it might be the wrong hub as the box picture shows an 8 bolt assembly. Fortunately, this turned out to be a packaging error and after three hours at 20 degrees it was on. The speed sensor was mounted exactly as it should have been, had a nice rubber/vinyl tube over the wiring and included new connectors so I didn't have to be touchy with the old ones. Everything about it met my expectations, which was a little surprising considering the price. I usually…
