This adapter converts Dewalt 18V/20V max lithium battery to Milwaukee power tool M18 battery(Not For Milwaukee NICD V18 18V tool ) The adapter works fine with tools where the battery hangs freely in the open, but not in an enclosed area, like the rocket light has. This one works in power tools and hand tools

Out of the box tested on both Milwaukee nailers and 18ga nailers worked fine the one I bought before another brand just did that Light on gun turned on, buy this one!

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Unusable features

Brilliant product, can't believe I haven't looked for this before

I intend to keep this on my Milwaukee circular saw and it doesn't add weight it can be removed but if most of your stuff is going to be dewalt and you have a milwaukee tool, why would you delete it? This adapter is fire.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Functionality

Works as advertised

I bought this to use with a Milwaukee flashlight but I only had DeWalt batteries 20 volt max. It attached securely to my Milwaukee flashlight and allowed me to attach my 20V Max DeWalt battery perfectly. I saved money and no longer have to buy batteries.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • quality

Works as advertised.

My son is a Dewalt nerd but I felt like he really needed a Milwaukee narrow crown stapler. This adapter was the solution, it can use its 20v batteries on an 18v Milwaukee and it works great. The adapter is flat, fits perfectly and is cheaper than new batteries.

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • old

Does not work with Rocket flashlight

The only purpose of the purchase was to use it with my Dewalt batteries for my new Milwaukee rocket lamp. Why not buy a Dewalt flashlight? Dewalt doesn't have the foresight to have a plug in option for use without batteries so I bought the red color and an adapter. The adapter will probably work great with tools where the battery is hanging freely outdoors, rather than indoors like a rocket flare.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Volume

The only option if you only have 1 tool from the range and no batteries

So I got this killer Milwaukee M18 handheld vacuum for Christmas, but my current range of power tools consists of the Dawalt 20V and Milwaukee M12 products. Instead of paying $199 for 2 M18 batteries and a charger, I found this gem of an adapter for less than $30 that allows me to use my DeWalt batteries with this device. VICTORY!

Pros
  • Great!
Cons
  • New competitors are here

Unreliable. 3 out of 3 lasted no more than a minute.

3 purchases, 3 broken adapters. Holders for nail gun and impact gun (heavy duty). The first 2 broke the same way, the screws holding the part together won't hold! Poor design, internal screws turned out 2 times (disassembled and tightened), minimal engagement with threads. Altogether very, very few minutes of actual working time on all three adapters. Just buy a Milwaukee battery/charger and save yourself the headache.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • No

Doesn't work with Milwaukee vacuum

Bought a good Milwaukee vacuum although I mostly have DeWalt tools. I bought this converter thinking I could use my DeWalt batteries with it as the shop vacuum was sold without a battery. Will not work with Milwaukee Store Vacuum. I believe another reviewer said the same. But I didn't read this review until I bought it. I hope I'm saving someone time and money by posting this. In addition, the transducer was difficult to attach and detach. I've asked other people to try it because I might have…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Has imperfections
