Good tool. Would have been great value for money except the price dropped $30 a week after purchase. I feel ripped off right now. What a pity!

I have used this snake 5 times since purchase. Worked great with no problems. I use it with a Flexvolt 9AH battery. Mainly used for apartment rentals. The non-rotating drum is ideal and will not scratch or damage cabinets or walls. It also protects you from possible injuries. The light is bright and right where you need it. The snake is a little heavy, but not as heavy as the spinal snake.

Used to clear a stubborn clog that I couldn't reach with my hand snake. I should have bought one of these a long time ago, it's a lot easier to use than the manual ones. He'll definitely handle whatever's down there. Like all Dewalt products, it's expensive, but I've come to the conclusion that DeWalt leads the way in quality and functionality, and my entire collection of 20+ company tools bears that out.

The 50ft cable was sent broken about 18ft, up to this point it was smooth and very comfortable on the roof. . Suddenly the cable ended up in my hand and went straight into the ventilation pipe. We spent about our time figuring out how to remove the cable and succeeded. I sent it back and will be ordering more. I hope you have a better experience and now you have a broken cable. I contacted Dewalt and never received a reply so unfortunately I had to spend money to return the entire unit.

Works as described. And it works fine. Although after a few uses it stopped working properly. But I took it to DeWalt and they sent me a new one a few days later. Otherwise it would have been five stars. The instructions state that it is not recommended to use reverse gear unless it is necessary. I found it quite strange to say that. I understand what people are saying about the "plastic" nature of the brushless drill. I will say the plastic feels strong and judging by the weight of this beast the Dewalt engineers may have been trying to save weight rather than parts. The shroud protecting the user from the spinning reel is a nice safety feature. I like the fact that the user has to slide the cable forward; it seems to cut the cable twisting in knots.
