Handyman approved.

Not a professional but a handyman who needed to grind concrete. I can't say how long it will be, but he did a great job. I used a Bosch 4 1/2 angle grinder at 11,000 rpm. The wheel is rated at 9000 rpm and the Bosch manual doesn't recommend this type of pot wheel, but that's about all I had to work with. Walk slowly and put on all protective gear.

Works well. Designed for 9000 rpm.

This product works well with atypical 4 1/2" angle grinders. It has a rated speed of 9,000 RPM, but most angle grinders run slightly higher, somewhere around 11,000 or 12,000 RPM. min I can't imagine what other two you would use it with but it works fine with my grinder I always wear long sleeve pants, closed toe shoes, gloves, safety glasses and face shield and ear defenders.

  • Ideal for a small home

Not very good for abrasives and finishing

I bought this disc to fix a small piece of concrete due to an oil leak. For the past few weeks I've tried pretty much everything on the market to remove the stain and I've removed 99% of the oil but the concrete still seemed dark. I'm grinding for about 3 hours now and when you flatten the disc like it's supposed to do next to nothing. If you hold it at an angle it grinds concrete very quickly, but then the grinding is uneven and you only make 1 inch strips at a time. I would not recommend this

Good for light work or light removal/leveling

MIGHT suffice if you're just looking to slim down a bit and there aren't any hard big rocks in the concrete mix, but I'd rather than Consider the finishing tool as a concrete leveling tool when you may need to remove more than 1/4 inch to level adjacent areas, or as I am trying to place a drainage puddle on the concrete slope in the wrong direction for proper drainage. Bottom line for me: it is ok for fine surface smoothing but not enough for cutting rocks in concrete unless you want to spend…

Works good, could be great

I used this to finish the edges and level a few small sections of concrete steps I poured last week. I installed it on my Makita Grinder. Tighten by hand as there was no other option but to fasten the strap. Seemed to hold up well. There was a slight centrifugal force, but it wasn't difficult to deal with. It worked fine until it collided with the device. It started sparking a little so I stopped. I didn't want it to fall apart. Maybe it would have been okay to keep moving, but the level was…

Better than I expected!

I had to sand two sides of a 50 foot driveway and remove mortar that was used to brick the driveway. This grinding wheel was worth every penny. They know how to be satisfied when you buy something and it turns out better than you thought. Well it made me feel like that. I rubbed off all the grout and the bike still looks brand new! Be prepared for a lot of dust and use safety goggles and a dust mask because this thing rocks. Perhaps, I should say, he destroys rocks. He turns them to dust like…

Worth its weight in gold

When I bought my house the previous owner clad the pool in old fashioned red brick that had very jagged edges. After looking at diamond discs I settled on this item as it is more suitable for edge grinding than surface grinding. I hesitated a bit as I wasn't sure how well a grit ceramic wheel would cut hard brick. I was very pleased. It easily cuts through the edges of the brick. In fact, I had to go easy. If you're not careful, it can easily remove too much material and dig into the surface. I

A cheap way to get the job done - well worth it.

**Used to level a concrete column. Overall very happy with this product. Used it on a concrete countertop. There was deep texture in the top which I think should be sanded down rather than filled with a fine slurry - reverse cast (should have used melamine but used unsealed MDF so it dries quickly, stupid choice I know). DO NOT add water when working on a concrete countertop. This created a slurry that was too thin, clogging the cup and splattering everywhere. It is best to work outdoors with…
