They'll stay sharp!: Masonry Bits

I drilled about 20 holes in a poured concrete or cement block wall. The bit stayed sharp and did an excellent job removing the 18 year old concrete. I bought 2 based on previous experience but only used one. It still cuts well when I've finished my project.

Pros
  • Power and Hand Tools
Cons
  • Slightly Scratched

The product is defective. suitable for masonry drill

04/16/2021 after drilling the 4th hole. The drill is now split in two, having broken off about a third of the way from the tip. Although the cost is minimal I expected the item to work as intended. I want to send replacement. 04/19/2021 Still waiting for a response from the seller regarding the replacement. 4/28/2021... I'm still waiting to see if I'll be sent a replacement.

Pros
  • spare parts and accessories for power tools
Cons
  • large and bulky

Just What I Needed - Masonry Drill Bit

I recently bought some Reolink security cameras and needed to mount them on brick walls. I had some old general purpose drill bits and was able to drill 1 hole out of 6 1/4" deep in about 15 minutes, and did it with a hammer drill. So I bought this masonry bit and drilled the other 5 holes in about 20 seconds each. I want to say that they work well.I can talk about durability as I only need it for 6 holes. But the price was good considering it saved me at least an hour of work.

Pros
  • Drill Bit
Cons
  • New Competitors Appeared
