🔩 DEWALT DW5461 10 & 12 Inch Carbide-Infused Drill Bit Review

I looked through a few bricks before purchasing this one. I have to say it made drilling a 10" solid concrete block easier!

Required for drilling 1/2" water pipe and plumbing holes through 5" poured concrete and 8" cement blocks. I had an SDS Heavy Duty Impact Drill and this bit did the job perfectly.

with building the deck - used this drill bit with a cheap SDS port cargo drill bit to drill 17 holes for threaded rod inserts - worked great - no problems with the chisel and it looks pretty good just like when I started drilling. I almost broke my wrist when the drill got caught on a rebar in one of the supports so it grabbed first rather than cut through, but eventually cut through the rebar - the key is to let the weight of the drill do its job and peck at an obstacle.
