3.0-amp motor of the orbital sander spins the pad at 8,000 - 12,000 OPM. Shorter height of the hand sander allows the user to get closer to work piece. Separate counterweight design reduces vibration for improved comfort of the electric sander. Rubber over-mold in all of the critical areas of the sander. Improved dust-sealed switch to protect against dust ingestion for longer switch life. Improved dust collection and one-handed locking dust bag. Dust port is designed to fit directly to the DWV010 or DWV012 dust collectors. To attach dust port to other vacuum systems with 1-1/4-inch hoses, use DWV9000 Universal Quick Connector.

Don't buy Dewalt sandpaper - there are cheaper alternatives

Well, as a former carpenter, I built it all, but my wife needed a kitchen table, and I picked up this little number with my grinding machine in the warehouse. I don't currently have space for a workshop so I settled on a grinder with an extra carry case which is REALLY nice and helps keep the house clean as grinders are the worst culprits when dirty. A bag alone isn't everything, but it's great at keeping clutter clean and gives you space for sandpaper. The mill itself works great. I have a lot

Fantastic little random orbit sander; A must-have for DIY enthusiasts

I am a regular weekend handyman and my wife recently asked me to polish our wooden address tag. We have now inherited the address sign with the house when we bought it and I estimate that there is still about 30 years of painting and repainting left on this sign. Frustrated new to Dewalt - Incredibly poor customer service
