Easy to read and looks very good. There is a lot of information in it, and if you don't use it all the time, you won't be able to memorize all the tricks.

My carpentry and woodworking projects require a lot of quick right angle cuts and I've found this angle to be a very handy tool. I go to the tool to have my butt joints come out the way I want it.

I'm a Dewalt guy. Bought Dewalt Speed Square. Easy to read, nothing to say, does what it's supposed to. Serves its purpose. Does it work better or worse than other brands? No, they all do the same thing.

This square would be great. It's lightweight, durable, easy to read, and suitable for most projects. However, I have 2 problems with it. First, one of the ends was beveled. Second, the markings vary a bit from side to side, so I only have to use a square on one side for an exact finish. Otherwise great! You might have better luck with yours. I hope.

Dewalt is always a good reliable brand that is worth paying a little more for. This is a reliable angle useful for the part-time carpenter. The edges are straight and the numbers are clearly marked with maximum contrast. I would probably stock a lot more if this was my life but for small DIY projects and regular house modifications etc. It's a good size that fits nicely in any toolbox.

Exactly as described. Bought used but couldn't tell what it was. It even came in original DeWalt packaging. It also looks different from all the others, so there is no confusion when choosing tools. As for the rafter squares, this certainly works the same as any other square. I haven't gone far enough to determine how accurate the measurements are, but this should work fine for my purposes. A potential problem in the future could be how well the white marks and lines hold up. They are not etched but appear to be more "painted" and I can see them falling off over time.
