DEWALT Tough Drive Impact Socket Review

Why build a dial if it doesn't go to 10mm. Garbage. Doesn't work for your average car that requires a metric. Didn't do a Toyota body.

A bit overpriced compared to some of the competition. This is a good set if you want to collect and combine all your tools. It's durable but seems to scratch and dent a lot more than other sets I've had. Size 10 nut not included, probably one of the most used.

Bought these because my Harbor Freight sockets are junk and break all the time. The build quality of all components in this kit is excellent. The key itself is very beautiful. The nozzles are hard and will not come off the key. I don't like that they are fully lubricated but that is typical of any instrument. Nice plug kit, a bit pricey but that's to be expected from DeWalt.

My son was fiddling with his bike and lost my last 3/8" ratchet. While shopping I found that each quality replacement costs about $20. It was $38. So for an extra $18 you get a couple of eardrums. I thought it was a deal. This is my first Dewalt power tool. I have almost every existing Dewalt construction tool and have been happy, so I assume they will work fine.

I have a 1/4" socket set on my truck but for some jobs that require a 3/8" drive I have to Reaching for my large workshop tool chest is not ideal. I wanted a good 3/8" set that I could leave in my truck and not worry about my good heads getting lost or falling out of the rack mounts. So that seemed like a good option to me. I've been a DEWALT fan since 1997 and they've never let me down. This is my first set of DEWALT sockets and I am very impressed with the quality of these sockets and ratchet. I plan on using an impact wrench extension to remove the mower blade and any other bolts it can handle. The DEWALT Atomic 20V Impact Wrench packs a lot of power, more than I thought it would. If you want a good set of impact sockets, buy this one. He won't let you down! mermaid!

This was a day late which I would have loved but hey country life adds a day to everything. The set is great except it doesn't have a 10mm socket. What were they thinking? This is a commonly used size (larger than the larger 16mm) and I didn't pay attention to this when purchasing, assuming it would start at 10 and work. The buyer is careful and pays close attention to what you order. I definitely need to find 10mm or less to add to the set.

I have used Dewalt for decades and have generally been very happy with their products. 4 months ago (2018) and used it weekly commercially and it's great! I would deduct a bit because I don't have a scope to plug into a 10mm socket but I knew that when I bought it. I easily found one and threw it in my suitcase. The black finish rubs off easily, but I didn't buy it for the color.
