Read what I had to do to make it fit

Yes, I have to say. It's very loose, I had to tape it with black tape to further attach the padding to the underside and it now holds up to 22psi but I don't know how long it will last.

The build quality is below the base, the sound is not affected.

Installed on KIA Optima T-GDI 2015. I can see where the matte black paint has been hastily applied in what looks like a single coat. The coating is very easy to scratch. Otherwise the sound is nice.

Worthy alternative

I wouldn't really trust this on my Supra but it works on my 2006 Honda AquaTrax F12X! Sounds good, doesn't leak and can withstand salt water. It's so cheap that if it breaks I'll buy another one. I've had a similar one for the past few seasons so for $39 you can't beat it.

Some disappointment on installation, worth the money afterwards.

C Clamp was painful, wrong size. I had to force it in and it pulled once, so no issues with the clamp at the moment. I had to tighten each of the nuts (2 were missing) also kept the thrust. After that everything is fine. Adjust from Optima SX 2012 not to weld the flange; bought an adapter. Sounds good after fixing the boost.

Nice paperweight, I think.

This is garbage and should not be used on higher value vehicles. Not only will it NOT fit in the flange due to the c-clip not being the right size (thanks for hours of frustration and bleeding joints), but even if you somehow manage to get it in, it won't hold any pressure. In the end I did the right thing and bought a real HKS valve that is really worth the money.

don't take trash Best in Engines and Engine Parts

Installed on 2g DSM. After paying a welder to install a flange on my upper intercooler pipe, we found that the valve wasn't actually sealing after installing the clamp. It is completely free and rotates freely in the flange. I had to retighten every screw in this thing to even try to keep the boost. I'm going to take this to a 40 ton press and destroy it so it can never damage another car.
