Reptile basking light, simulates the sun providing the light radiation necessary for reptiles to survive. Cold start mode, it's the overheating protect on mechanism,need 5 to 10 min to cool down, turn on while the lamp at cold. 100 Watt UVA Heat, to provide plenty of calories for your pet during the colder months. Increase the Vitamin D3, the uvb helps the pets synthesize Vitamin D3, and promote pet's absorption of calcium. Use w/ good-quality ceramic socket (standard US size) & a large/deep dome designed for large, high-wattage bulbs. Not to be used with dimmers/rheostats. Experiment w/ distance from cage to achieve desired temperature. PLEASE CHECK PICTURES FOR SIZING TO ENSURE THE BULB IS NOT TOO LARGE FOR YOUR FIXTURE,if the bulb is broken, we can sent you a new bulb.

Not too hot - heat lamps

I have this lamp and another heat lamp in my fixture, they are 5-10 inches from where my beard is heating up and the temperature still barely reaches 100 degrees.

Don't waste money like me!

Don't waste your money. I should have listened to other reviews, instead I ordered two pears. One wouldn't even turn on and the second broke. So it was a waste of almost $50.

Either shipping broke it or it's a junk product

I started screwing it in and after two screws it breaks at the base. I don't know if it ripped in transit or just junk, but I was so gentle with it and it broke anyway.

Good for your bearded dragon's health!

Overall the product is great, it has really helped my reptiles digest food better and I have a rescuer that has MBD and reverses MBD, it's a big challenge because it straightens their fingers power. they were crippled. Thanks to your product
