COSCO Luxor Step Stool, Antique Gun Metal, 1-Pack Review

They are quite sturdy and when raised to counter height you sit with the counter at chest height. like sitting at a table. The closest height I have is better for small kids (let's say ages 5-12) but they are good for adults who want to feel the handlebar height. I prefer the following height due to my 5ft 3in height. They are still great for average sized adults. No problem with the design that only involves attaching the backrest of the chair. Generally good.

The chairs arrived and the packaging looked good. We unpacked the chairs and it was difficult, but I didn't put much emphasis on it. Then, the next day, I noticed dents on all of the chair legs after my pants snagged on a crack and chip in the wood of one of the seats. Upon further investigation, both stools were badly damaged. UPDATE: The day after this review was posted I found a large scratch on the back of a stool that clearly shouldn't have been (pictured). I contacted the seller to see if they can help (sending a replacement seat back or refunding a damaged part). After I had to send a lot of information and photos, they told me that they would not give me a refund as the chair was not defective, citing the chair's "antique" appearance as the reason.
