I chose these because of the interesting design: they are sealed and lock like a weatherpack but it's literally impossible to touch the pins, making them a form-locking connector when disconnected. The locks are aggressive, and if you ever want to take it apart again you'll want to file or sand down the lock jamb halfway - it still locks tight but is much easier to remove if you want to. That's why I'm giving this place 4 stars and not 5. Everything else is great.

I used them as part of a wiring harness for a 12V LED lighting system for my shower stall. While the cables are in the ceiling above the shower, I wanted the entire system to be waterproof. I pre-wired each light and power supply and sealed all the solder joints. I particularly liked these connectors as they are well made, easy to use and I'm sure they keep connections dry. I was able to install each lamp and then just wire them up in the tight attic space.

These things are amazing, period. I bought them boxed thinking they would last a while, WRONG! When I saw how good they are for attaching things to my tractors I threw them all away! I've fitted headlights to tractors but sometimes wanted to take them off, these quick couplers were perfect!
