Not worth it

Not worth it. The shaft is smooth and chrome-plated. The patron has nothing to crack. The drill kept losing grip on the shank, and then the drill stopped spinning and fell on the drill. I stuck with it and ended up drilling a hole in the travertine tile, which is relatively soft; However, I'd be better off spending $35 and getting a good quality version from a hardware store.

Pros
  • Hole saw mandrels
Cons
  • I will add later

Works great

Works perfectly. Those who complain are most likely inexperienced, using too little water and too much pressure. It takes time. I place my machine on a tripod drill press and apply some pressure to it, but basically just let the weight of the machine do the work. I have a ring around it (which I made out of clay) and hold a few ounces of water in it. Alternatively, you can use a spray bottle filled with water. No soaking needed - just keep moist.

Pros
  • Power tool parts and accessories
Cons
  • Not sure

Great tool, affordable price, works like a champ!

I needed to drill perfectly round holes in a ceramic wall in my shower. I looked up Revain and found these diamond hole saws. They are not expensive so I bought several different sizes. They work great, got the job done quickly with professional results. In this regard, I strongly recommend that you also purchase a Drilax hole saw guide. These hole saws don't have a center drill bit like a regular hole saw, so they will go around your tile if you try to cut them free hand and break the tile…

Pros
  • Electric Drill Parts and Accessories
Cons
  • Very Expensive
