Well, everything worked out great.

Cuts great. My only complaint, not really a complaint. My own silly mistake, unless. discovered it too late. I believed the markings and started drilling, only to find out that it can't cut all the way through the stone no problem since i didn't have a pilot hole to drill all the way through i started micro cutting the core cut the core far enough to try again success Then, after the dry install, my 3" PVC pipe didn't fit in. Even though the packaging says 3 1/4", my 3" pipe didn't fit. Now I…

This worked great for my project!

Perfect match for my project! I've drilled through 12 inches of concrete with no problem, applying water constantly. You should always use water, even if it needs to be dry; This helps with friction, dirt removal, heat build-up and dust control. Just a very thin stream of constant water is enough. It actually turned out better than I expected. Just slow down the bullet as you go deeper into the concrete. Great for the price and small enough that you can store it easily. Going through hard…

Does the job well. - Core Drill for Masonry

I used this to cut through brick to install a new 4 inch vent. When purchasing this core drill, you should keep in mind that it does not have a shank, so you will have to buy it separately. To use it directly on masonry, you must support it with a piece of plywood in which a hole has been cut of the same diameter as the drill, so it stays still, because unlike a hole in a tree, the saw doesn't have a center drill to keep it from wobbling.
