Stupid to set up, impossible to try to map when you have a normal name. God help me trying to add my son to this swing tracker! Setup should be a lot easier. Update: Subscribe to save my data?! No thanks for bringing it back.

I recently bought a SwingTracker for my daughter and I really like it. While I didn't know a subscription existed, it was very reasonable and the metrics were extremely valuable. Now she can make the corrections her swing coach tells her and she can really see the difference. Customer service was very accommodating with any questions we had and noticed a couple of straps after the first one wore out. Great product and value.

Failed to download app. Try it on two different phones and also on two different models of IPADS / Tablets. The announcement should also mention that an annual or monthly subscription is REQUIRED to use the app. The ad is only for the tool and the trial version of the app (if you can download it!) I have a limited knowledge base about turn mechanics. This tool helped quantify certain metrics, which in turn helped diagnose issues with my daughter's swing. Also, my daughter enjoys hearing the bat speed announcements when using this device. There's a slight learning curve, but it's easy enough to understand. I bought this hoping to improve my son's results. While it appears to follow the path of the bat, the app offers no guidance on what counts as a good swing or how to get better. Also, you can't view past beat episodes for analysis. If you spend an hour tracking swings and stop using the app for a period of time, you will be prevented from viewing your swing history. Update: The green sensor holders came loose within a month and then a week later. They're pretty flimsy and you should expect to buy 5 packs of Diamond Kinetics in a month, especially if you use your gaming bat for your dates (take off and put on obviously isn't good for them). I really like this product and would like to rate it a 5. However, there were problems. My dad and I run a baseball/softball school and we have about 100-120 kids who attend weekly. We use this product along with other products for testing, tracking and goal setting for our athletes.
