I've recently started using henna, a powdered organic plant, to color my hair and while it doesn't contain any toxic chemicals it's a bit messier than regular hair dye. Even if I grind it up well with a small blender (powdered henna grass is mixed with water, coconut oil and vinegar). These shower caps work great, don't expect them to work wonders for you. I mainly use shower caps during my hair spa day at home and during my shower to keep my hair dry. here and there, despite the beanie. So in my opinion 3 stars for the product. I use it weekly for very dry hair. I also use it on my kids long, beautiful, healthy hair to keep it that way! We sit in these hats every 30 minutes to an hour while applying the conditioner or hair mask. What used to be a chore is now fun because we pretend it's a spa day! The elastic stretches enough for my adult sized head but also fits a toddler and almost 10 year old's hair! Highly recommend and you get a lot for the price. I have no complaints!

I find that I prefer wash caps to shower caps because they are cleaner to use and can be thrown away after each use. I don't like that regular shower caps get dirty and can't be washed properly. Especially chewing gum, which can smell and mold. bacteria city! As long as you recycle your plastic, there's no reason to feel guilty about receiving it. I also like their versatility. I can use it in the bath/shower while the deep conditioner and hair conditioner doesn't stick to my neck and shoulders

This is great. I have a big head (like men) and I have no problem putting all my hair in and trimming it. With the exception of one occasion when I clipped the cap to a hair clip, the cap lasted several weeks of use. If I change just to get a clean cap, not because it's worn out. Very soft and comfortable to wear. Besides protecting the environment, I can't think of any reason to choose reusable products instead. (Also great for covering bowls and pots.)

I was looking for disposable hair conditioner attachments. I loved the texture of these hats and the fact that there were so many of them for such a price but the only downside was a very strong chemical smell that didn't go away so sadly I had to throw them away. Exactly what I was looking for. I dye my hair with a mixture of henna and indigo and have to leave it on for three hours. These are the perfect disposable caps for this function. I used a disposable cap but after three hours the elastic becomes really uncomfortable. They are secure but not too tight. Great price but the lids are very small and very flimsy plastic. I have 4c shoulder length hair and it's insanely difficult for me to get all my hair in a hat. And when I do that, the cap doesn't sit on the hairline. I will not buy again

This is GREAT! I like having them at home. They are NOT for hair ONLY. Although they're great for color work and a quick shower cap when you don't want to get your hair wet. They're ALSO great for quickly covering a bowl that needs to be chilled. I actually use mine to cover large bowls when proofing sourdough bread dough in the fridge or on the counter overnight. Great item. Fairly tight at the seams but not itchy like others I've tried. I have long hair to mid-shoulder. Thick long hair. Holds most of my hair but not all. I think if your hair is longer than shoulder length it might be better to use a different type of cap just to be honest about the product.
