🚗 Dodge Ram Diesel Fuel Cap - Magnetic Billet Aluminum Cap for 2019-2021 Ram Truck 1500, 2500, 3500 Review

The magnet in the diesel cap is too weak to hold anything metallic. I have an old one from another company and it works great. I use it instead. The DEF cap is great and fits very well. Due to the lack of a strong magnet, I cannot recommend this item.

The caps fit well and definitely keep your diesel tank away from dirt. However, I just filled it for the first time and tried to put a plug on the filler cap. The magnet wasn't strong enough to hold him. So I just installed it on my toolbox.

I was REALLY happy with them but after running them for a while they are fine. The magnet is pretty weak so I put it in the back of the gas filler hole as there is only one spot on the fuel filler flap for it to stick, but I can't trust it strong enough. You look pretty sharp.

The diesel cap fits snugly with the included o-ring. I would have preferred a slightly tighter fit but it stays in place and my wife takes it off easily when she has a 2018 Ram EcoDiesel. truck (mostly). The magnet is minimally strong enough to hold the cap on the truck body track in windy weather, I prefer to place it outside of the fuel filler flap to minimize any diesel moisture that may drip off the cap.
