I love this little timer. I love timing hair products in five minute increments and I love that when the timer runs out I can just press the start button to start it again for its last timer. It has a decent magnet - works well on the fridge and solid metal objects - but they probably won't be very useful in a regular shower, so it's good that it has a little footstool too.

Bought this for me and my family. I tend to spend a bit more time in the shower and even when I set a timer on my phone I stay a little longer than my 10 minutes as I don't see the countdown (although my phone is waterproof I prefer it) . keep it out of the shower) This timer has really helped me shave, wash my hair and cleanse my body in less than 10 minutes. I take a cold shower and measure how long it stays cold. This is perfect for my needs. Magnetic backing makes it easy to stick to the top of the shower curtain and not easy to fall off. The timer function seems good, but I haven't compared it to an atomic clock. So if you're looking for absolute accuracy, you might need to do a little more exploratory research. I don't know about teenagers and women. Somehow they can take a shower for 17 minutes without even thinking about it. Well, with this little timer, at least they're thinking about it. The timer lets you set it as a countdown timer (preferably when it beeps when the time is up) or as a countdown timer. Also has a clock function to show you the current time.
