Effective Device for Testing Water Quality!

This substance analysis instrument from the Industrial and Scientific category greatly helped me analyze the water quality in my hydroponics and aquarium setup. Through trial and error, I found that this device is easy to use and gives accurate readings. The best part is that it's portable and can be used both indoors and outdoors. You get what you pay for...

Extremely inaccurate. Also, the top that contains the batteries was not secured and fell into the water when first used. He got hit by water and voila he's dead. I couldn't calibrate as it kept showing 0.2 even when I put it in the 4.1 buffer. Garbage.

The pH controller sucks.

The pH pen in this kit is junk. At first it got stuck reading all zeros. After playing around with it for a while it seems to be behaving normally, I did the calibration at 4.01 and 6.86. Then I tested some distilled water and the meter read 8.0 at first, after 1 minute it read 6.5 and after about 2 minutes it read 6. I bought another one of those yellow pH pens and after the same calibrations the reading it gave just cracked. Everywhere, everywhere, everywhere. The TDS test pen seems to work…
