Works like a champ: thermometer

works great. I tore it all apart and attached it to the underside of the clock module on my 1990 Jeep Cherokee and it looks great. A little more finishing on the dash and you're done.

I installed it on my 1991 Subaru so I can.

I installed this in my 1991 Subaru so I can see it when the roads are freezing. The only problem is that the sensor cable was too short, I just cut it off and spliced the extra 2 feet.

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Compatibility

Has worked flawlessly for a month.

It worked great for a month and then got stuck at 141. No matter what I pressed or unplugged and plugged in again (setting and resetting the upper and lower alarms), I couldn't get it to work again. The return postage is higher than the original cost.

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • Not the best

Good reliable 12v thermometer

I have used four battery powered 12v digital thermometers for over 1000 hours for several years to take water temperature without fail. It requires a rectangular hole and hood to be readable in direct sunlight.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Requires outlet

In the Q&A, someone asked if there was a .

In Q&A someone asked if it had a backrest and they answered yes. So I ordered it based on that. It has no back wall. The 3mm sensor I ordered will not arrive until February 7th and March 1st. It was ordered on January 17th. By then winter will be over. Well it's a joke.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Bad instruction

Very accurate thermometer for the price

With this thermometer I measured the temperature of an ice water bath at 33.0F compared to 32.0F for actual freezing point - 1 degree error. I measured the boiling point of water at 208F, compared to 208.0F for the actual boiling point of water at my altitude (2200 feet) - 0 degree error. Considering the price I am very satisfied with this product.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Fits

Good thermometer alarm clock

This thermometer is extremely accurate. The alarm functions are great too. In my greenhouse I have set a limit at 35 degrees with a low temperature alarm and a high limit alarm at 85 degrees. That way I can do something about the weather there before my tomatoes freeze or cook. I was looking for an accurate digital thermometer for a long time before deciding on this one. This is the goalkeeper.

Pros
  • Check, measure and test
Cons
  • Not sure

Works as described but alarm is as quiet as a wristwatch alarm

Connected to a 12vdc supply and the screen lit up. Hold until the numbers flash, adjust the bottom switch, then the top switch to set the emergency temperature to 68F and 72F. The probe reacts very quickly to temperature changes. The device works as described. If the device is on the table in front of you, an alarm will sound. But the alarm clock is a little less loud than the alarm clock on a cheap watch, too quiet to hear from another room.

Pros
  • Digital thermometer
Cons
  • Long delivery time

It's taken you long enough and it's still not the same

that reads in Celsius, not Fahrenheit. than the product) - they repeatedly sent me another temperature sensor which had no alarm and could not be calibrated (I am extending the sensor wires which I expect will change value so I need to be able to calibrate this to explain this it) Now that I have it I think I'm satisfied - I can calibrate the sensor to read the exact temperature to within 0.1 degrees Celsius, the alarm is loud enough (closer to microwave signal than on the wrist). clock as…
