Easy to use in temperature controllers

Bought to make a dough retarder out of a small fridge. Works well. The dough stays (in this fridge) on the low temperature setting. Currently used with a 5 degree spread but fits tighter.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Some problems

Super versatile temperature and humidity meter

I live offline and have already used it to make a low power bulb incubator, can use a chest freezer as a fridge, pond water temperature monitor to trigger an air pump. It also seems very accurate.

  • Excellent overall performance

The Digiten temperature controller offers good value for money.

I bought a Digiten controller to control an old fridge that I use as a deer fridge. Previously, the refrigerator worked continuously, freezing meat. With a temperature controller, the temperature stays exactly between the selected temperature settings. Once you understand the instructions, setup is easy. The only problem I had was figuring out how to switch from the default Celsius setting to Fahrenheit. The instructions simply say to press the up and down arrows at the same time or hold both…

Turned my freezer into a fridge!

I needed a device that could actually wrap around my freezer's thermostat so I could use it as a full-size fridge. Brewing is my hobby and it's hard to find a standard fridge that comfortably fits kegs of beer. This unit comes with a flexible temperature probe that you place in the freezer. It has a wall plug and socket to plug your freezer into. The only downside is that the instruction manual could be a bit clearer, it's clearly written by someone who has English as a second language, but…

I works as expected

It works well to power just about anything you want to run within a certain temperature range. Just be sure to check the amperage or wattage of whatever you're plugging into it. From the literature I'm not sure how much inrush current it can handle for larger refrigeration compressors, if any. I like that I can see three important temperatures at the same time. The current temperature as well as the lower and upper temperature limits. Once you understand how you set values and what all the…
