Very Disappointed with Best Door Peepholes

I didn't expect the device to perform at the highest level, but I expected it to be more than mediocre or useless. With a lot of sun, the picture was blurry. The image was unreadable at night due to the strong backlight. Finally, a month later, the doorbell rang randomly. So save money, time and energy. Oh, and I've had another brand before with the same features and in the same price range and it's lasted almost two years with GREAT day and night imaging. If it was still available I would take

Easy to install and use

I installed my new peephole yesterday. Very easy to install. Much, much lighter than my last one which wore out. The day and night picture is as good or better than my previous one which was much more expensive. I also like that the battery is rechargeable. My last you were six AA batteries that I had to change two or three times a year and the battery compartment was very difficult to open. Overall I am very happy with this purchase so far. If anything changes after using it for a while I will

Not wide enough for my door but works.

Motion sensor reviews - is it a motion sensor camera? As far as I know, no. The visitor has to press a button (which they can't reach in my peephole) or I have to press a button to see when someone knocks. My door is relatively high off the ground and I don't have a porch, just steps. If someone is at the bottom of the stairs, this camera doesn't "see" them. I tried panning the camera vertically, which fixed the door sill issue, but then I can't see my driveway. I bought it for a very low…

Pros
  • 4. Simple cycle storage: The internal memory stores up to 75 recent photos and automatically overwrites the oldest ones.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
