Perfect for my iMac to use my old Apple monitor

I have an old Apple monitor that I can use with my new iMac that only has Thunderbolt 3 (USBC). Much cheaper than Apple products.

No blow to the product itself but I bought it to use a 27" Mac display with the new MBP and it's not compatible. It's Apple's fault, not them.

Works perfectly! A must-have adapter for connecting old displays to new computers and devices!

Great adapter! I really needed it to work so I could connect my 27" Apple LED Cinema Display with Mini Display Connector to my new MacBook Pro with only USB-C inputs. I plugged it in and it worked right away! The picture/video looks good. Mandatory adapter if your settings and needs are similar to mine.

Perfect ! Works with Mac Cinema Displays

Perfect and works great! I have 2 of these and use them on 2 Apple Cinema displays connected to an HP 13" laptop (work computer). Having a table with 4 big screens so I'm switching between my personal Retina Macbook Pro and HP laptop with USB C to Mini adapter. No problem! Worked immediately. Note: I actually had 1 bad key which I exchanged and got a replacement from Amazon! I knew one adapter was bad because the other worked...of course the replacement works great. Connected a 30 " Apple Cinema Display to a new MacBook

Like another reviewer, I have used this successfully to connect a 30" Apple Cinema Display (ACD) to a new MacBook Air to connect. The ACD has a dual link DVI output. I connected it to an Apple Mini DisplayPort (MDP) DVI Dual Link Adapter. With this MDP to USB-C conversion cable and another USB to USB-C conversion adapter, I can use the ACD. I have found that I need to connect this cable directly to my MacBook. It was not connected to the hub. However, USB can be connected to a hub. I also found

For those considering using the 27 " Apple Cinema Display with Mini DisplayPort, please read on!

For those of you with a 2018 iPad Pro 12.9" USB-C (DisplayPort mode) connection to the 27" Apple Cinema Display Mini-DisplayPort didn't work. After reading the description, it seems so. Unless I'm doing something completely wrong, the screen won't turn on. I've tried everything... including extra lining. nada. I want to save someone else the drama of having to try this. I ended up sending it back but I have to say that it physically arrived in a nice box with good packaging and the cable itself
