This sharpener was purchased to make it easier to sharpen beaded blades from combination blades. What I've found is that the radius of your blade fits the tool very little. Obviously this is done so that the rather short sharpener can accommodate both the largest and smallest blades/tools. While this makes sense on paper, it doesn't give you much room to work with the tool before you're out of the radius you need. I've since adapted a more advanced system.
