It just works: Networking products

Much less than expected. I connected to my WiFi router with a short Ethernet cable. It comes with a USB cable and a charger for power. My router has a USB port on the back that I can use to connect the eDMX1 directly to my router. It works great with the Luminair iOS app. Truly plug and play.

Great customer service, great product

I have ordered a DMX King to use with the Luninair 3 iPad app. I encountered a problem during the setup process and the DMX King customer service representative I contacted did everything they could to help me fix the problem, even though it was software and equipment for which they were not responsible were. Everything seems to be working fine, although I'm still in the process of setting it up.

DMX Pro Sales, great seller. Fast help with problems.

I am very happy with my experience with DMX Pro Sales. I had some problems with this item and the seller helped me very quickly. DMX Pro Sales was knowledgeable and went out of their way to make sure everything was right for me. This was good because I needed to install the device quickly. The DMXking eDMX1 is a solid device, the fact that it is DHCP makes it easy to set up and use. I have always had good experiences with DMXking products.

Awesome DMX to Ethernet Adapter!

We used a DMXking eDMX1 Ethernet DMX adapter with the Lumiar 3 app on the iPad and Apple Airport Express for stage lighting. We've been using it for almost a year, no problems! This device allows the DMX cable to be run through an Ethernet cable (ours is Category 6) and then connected to a router (Apple Airport Express). This sends a signal to our Luimar 3 iPad app. Pros: - clear instructions on how it works (also see DMXking website for more info) - easy to install - made from quality…

Cons
  • Some cons

In my opinion this device is far superior to any hardware DMX controller. With the appropriate application, this device provides more flexible setup of stage lighting. If you're using a traditional fader-based controller, you're limited by the number of controls available. With this device you are only limited by the possibilities of your application. Fader-based controllers cost thousands more. If you have a smartphone or tablet and a cheap WiFi router, this is the best solution. Once you have

Many people will like this little box

This little box has a lot going for it.1. It's small at just 3" x 1.5" so it can be tucked away in a corner or in a rack.2 It's available with a 3-pin or 5-pin DMX connector. I've opted for the more common 3-pin connector, which isn't found in the leading competitor's DMX boxes.3. It works. Once you've completed the initial setup (see below), the box is solid. I connect it to my WiFi router and use the Luminair app on my iPad to control my lights remotely.3. Power is supplied via a standard USB

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky
