Ideal for commuter ebikes

I have used a commuter ebike that works great but the bike came with a 14-28T freewheel. However, rowing at 20-22 mph was too fast for me to use effectively in pedelec mode. Also, I typically used 7th gear for flats and descents and 6th gear for steeper roads. The 11-28T solves these problems: it allows you to put some pressure on the paddle even at 40 km/h. Thus, travel speed increased by about 2-3 miles per hour and battery range by about 20% or 5 miles. Now the bike is more of a regular bike

I doubted it, but so far nothing to complain about.

I have two older mountain bikes that I ride. I overhauled one and rebuilt the other; Conversion of both into urban hybrid types. I do most of the miles on the newer one each year (about 250). It has 21 gears and this freewheel is installed. I bought this DNP Epoch freehub to use with some very nice Heavy Duty Wheelmaster 26" wheels I bought a while back Stomping down hills at less than 15 mph makes 10-15% the time spent driving downhill. First of all, I wouldn't miss that much. I keep myโ€ฆ
