If you have a Dodge Cummins and you change the oil yourself or have other people change it, you need this in your tool box even if you only use it once. Change your oil to Cummins and don't spill a drop. Fill and install a new filter without spilling a drop. Easy to get in and out of, just don't overtighten. All you have to do is gently press it and you can insert a new filter, remove the tool and install a new filter with one hand.

This thing is great for changing the oil in my truck. The Rams' new oil filter design sucks and makes changing the filter an easy task. You have to turn the filter on its side to take it out and this makes it close perfectly so you don't spill half a liter of oil on yourself and on the floor. It costs a few dollars, and I get that money back from the cost of paper towels that I save by not mopping the floor.

So easy but so delicious! I have a 2020 Ram 3500 6.7, ordered the blue one, worked great. I lowered the filter after getting it off the truck and laid it on the ground while I unscrewed the cap. I was able to pull it through the frame without spilling a drop of oil. As a bonus, this allowed me to preinstall a new filter for installation without spilling oil on the way back. You have to drive the truck. This has been my most pleasant purchase from Revain in a long time.

As a lube technician at a dealership, we checked the plastics after about a month because, inevitably, someone had messed up the threads. Plastic doesn't like to recover and it becomes too easy to keep crossing threads. It will be difficult to do this. Even the color on the threads mostly stayed behind after three months and hundreds of uses. If you tend to accidentally cross threads I'd say this is definitely a great buy.

Waste of money, another product from China. You screw it onto the filter and install it in the truck and the oil is still going everywhere. It might work if they machine the notch and put an o-ring on it to seal the filter better. Also, I tried to twist this thing really hard to get it sealed, but you can only get to the area where the filter is with one hand, so it's very hard to get it off. Don't waste time, just fill the filter about half full so it doesn't leak during installation.

I had bought another cap a while back that I lost so I bought two of these as spares. My old cap only had knurling on the sides to screw it onto the oil filter, so getting the filter out was still quite a hassle. This cap is very convenient to use with the T-handle and after screwing it on I was able to take the filter out with ease. I think the only improvement they can make is to make the threaded part in the middle solid instead of hollow, it still works fine without it but it would make it…
