Not intended for everyday soldering

I bought this because it was cheap and I didn't solder much. Now that I've been soldering for a while, I'd say it's not that great. It works, helps to overcome difficulties, but not at the highest level. Holds on to the gun and tries to get out of it all.

Pros
  • Easy to clean
Cons
  • No instructions

Could be a little more weight, overall fair and efficient.

I don't have a similar product to compare but it works as it should to protect my soldering tips from oxidation. I wish it was weighted a little to keep it in place. Slipping isn't really that bad, but it's better to clean the soldering iron tip with a downward stabbing motion than with an outward stabbing motion.

Pros
  • Protect your soldering tip
Cons
