Works best in electronic training collars

This model fits our little golden lab better than the next size up and has more than enough power to train it. We hired a professional trainer and he got her working well with him within 20 minutes. We haven't used it much, but from what we've used it works well and looks very well made. I strongly recommend using a professional trainer. I consider myself good with dogs; taught them in the past; but i have learned to respect the man who does it for a living. Both the collar and the professional

The collar costs you nothing

This is my second Dogtra collar. The first lasted for almost four years with regular use (4-5 times a week). I had this collar for about 9 months and the collar stopped charging. I don't use this collar as often as the first one (the dog is already fully grown and well trained) so I use it 8-10 times a month. I've tried different outlets, left it sitting and switched outlets from one to another, but it broke. I used to praise Dogtra but after reading other reviews I'm not sure if the product…

  • Hard to say

Th. No. Obtain. Purchased on 08/02/2019. It worked great for 8 months before it suddenly stopped. Wrote the seller, no reply. I emailed Dogtra, they replied and I called them to troubleshoot. After making sure the collar really stopped working I was told to send it to them (at my expense) then they will fix it and send it back to me in 30-45 days! Hm? We have just confirmed that my $250 collar has stopped working after only 8 months. and instead of a replacement I have to wait at least a month…

The best of the 3 I've tried!

Day one so it's early but this product exceeded my expectations. I just adopted a 105# 16 month old Cane Corso and was in need of some obedience training. The collar that the previous owner used and gave away with the dog has fallen apart. I tried another very reputable brand and the lowest setting and it was jumping around, totally freaking out and looking sore. I tried this collar after our K9 police trainer I take recommended this brand. With this collar you really find the ideal place for…

Not sure I would buy this again

This is the first time I have used an electric collar on my dog. I have a German Shepherd Dog. I don't use it every day but when I use it I have to charge it every time. It is not used for more than 24 hours at a time. When I take it off my dog I turn off the collar and then turn off the controller and the collar turns back on if I get too close to the controller so I have to turn it off and away from it a few times. The controller is very fast so I'm not sure if this is the default setting in…

My FAVORITE E-Collar

Disclaimer: I have been using e-collars for over 15 years and would not recommend that novice pet owners try them without BROAD training and education from an experienced and experienced user use professional. . Electronic collars can easily be misused. Now that that's out of the question I have to say I love this tool. The size of the remote control is large, and the size of the receiver is very unobtrusive. There is ONE cause for concern that resulted in 4 stars instead of 5. When using a…
