Works well. This was recommended by the trainer. The only part I don't like is that the collar is vinyl to make it waterproof. It slides around the entire perimeter and is difficult to fit under. With a not so smooth nylon collar I would have been thrilled and would have given 5 stars.

Great for our GSD. Haven't had to use static yet while Nick does, but no deer yet. I just don't like it if you don't turn off the power at night when not in use the collar doesn't last a day and a half. Although it charges fairly quickly.

Used to train my French Bulldog. You never have to increase the power level above 10 to make it effective. The PAGER feature is great - no clicking, just vibrating and it gets his attention quickly. Works great for leash/walk training. Great battery life so far.

Our handler recommended we buy this last spring for our dachshund puppy who has problems with aggression and attention. He taught us how to use it properly and it saved our lives. She has improved so much and now we don't have to worry so much about her trying to attack dogs and people on the walk. After 6 months of use we rarely have to call her - as long as she wears it she is well behaved.

She's so excited that I didn't even have to use the drum part. I can just remind them (a little or a lot, depending on the circumstances).
