Works perfectly, needs to replace defective design OEM

Ours have never worked consistently in a new motorhome. Pulled the original sail switch 3 times to clean it, thinking it was probably just dirty. Once it seemed important, but the other two times it didn't. Was replaced with this switch and has worked great EVERY time (all season) ever since. The factory design has a small flaw that fixes the bracket for this switch, so be sure to replace the factory bracket with the one that came with the switch.

It works! in spare parts

My 2018 Dometic Furnace Coleman 337BH was unreliable from the start. After several attempts to fix the problem, I narrowed it down to a sail switch. I tried cleaning it, changing the shape but it still worked intermittently. I was hesitant to spend over $30 for what appeared to be the same sail derailleur, but the others just didn't look like they would fit. Sail Switch - a common problem in RVs

This is a switch that does not normally light residential fires. When you turn on the thermostat, the first thing you hear is the sound of the fan. This will remove any remaining fumes and the blower will set the "sail" in motion, closing the switch and completing the circuit. When the switch is closed, gas can flow and ignite in the chamber.
