The price was great and the thickness of the rug was the same as a cricket rug. What was frustrating for me as a teacher was that after a few hours of cutting the tape on the mat, I learned and had to walk very hard with the cricket tool to hold the paper. Even if I had problems, I would go again.

This product is equal to or less than Cricut Light Cutting Mat. I immediately noticed that the mats had almost no support. In fact, without even leaving the box/bag, I didn't notice any difference between my old used lightweight Cricut rugs and these. I would only buy them again if my goal was vinyl or tissue paper.

I like to test different products at different prices to see which is the best. I love the color because who doesn't love black? Although I wish it was a little stickier. This is the third or fourth brand of mats I've bought (including Cricut) and I found them to be probably the least sticky. I know depending on what you're doing you might want a mat that isn't SUPER sticky, but I expect a new mat to be pretty sticky depending on which one I get. Overall I would say they are ok for the price.

I thought it would be a bargain at such a great price but they are actually no better than the Cricut (which are awful). I bought the green (standard grip) and the purple (heavy grip) and after using them the stickiness almost completely disappeared. My vinyl slides across the mat while the machine cuts and finishes my designs, costing me expensive vinyl and time. I tape the vinyl around the edges as before. If I wanted to continue like this, I would have just gone with the Cricut floor mats…

I used to only use Cricut and Silhouette mats but I took a chance and bought them because I needed them ASAP and the price was great. Since I've only cut vinyl so far, I wanted to try different grip thicknesses to make sure I didn't tear the cardboard when removing it from the grip mat. Well, I didn't have to worry about that. Oh my god I can't believe I never thought of trying them in the 2+ years that I've owned my Cricut Maker. Received a varied set and immediately used a light (blue) studio cardboard paper cutting mat (used medium card stock choices and standard blade pressure).
