Fits and works great. Good price

Replaced defective rear door lock on the driver's side. The fit was not exact and a hole had to be filed in the door for the drive lock screw to lock it. Once installed, it works instantly with Honda key fob controls. The old car works like new. No annoying "alarm" because the door lock opens and panics/beeps an intruder. If you are willing to replace the door lock mechanism in your car, then this is a score of "5" because you can solve the minimum hole alignment problem yourself. If you think…

Ingenious but high quality replacement part

With this and a repeating YouTube video (and lots of swearing) I was able to replace my friend's disc drive. The part works great and as others have said you have to move the metal bar towards you which is easy to figure out. Installing in the door is tricky, but it's just part of the job, not part of it. I would recommend tools for trim removal so you don't break anything and be careful with the screws on the door. Effective replacement screws are easy to find at hardware stores, which is what

Decent quality for the price

This lock activator is inexpensive and easy to install. The three screws that attach the latch to the door frame are very difficult to remove and require an impact wrench to prevent them. A few other reviewers have complained about having to reuse those three snap-on screws, but it doesn't matter as long as you don't screw them up.
