Perfect for keeping the door open in winter. This is a colder room and we need to keep the door open to allow heat to enter. the wedge at foot level was constantly lost. Does exactly what you want in a doorstop. Seriously, I need a doorstop that I can hold on the inside door of my attached garage and it works great. . It has a hole so ideally I could buy a magnetic hook and keep it right next to the hinge so it's within reach when needed. It's durable and my wife even tried closing the door with it but it did more damage to my finish than the wedge. Would definitely buy again and will likely buy more to have on hand and maybe one for work.

As a teacher I need a good, solid doorstop. After reading the reviews I bought this one. I really liked how it worked and thought I could use it for a few years. Unfortunately today it broke when inserting into the door hinge. Luckily one of my students didn't try to install it or his fingers could get crushed by the sling. This doorstop may be more suitable for home use than a school or shop with large and heavy doors. This makes me sad because the return window is closed.

I love this weird little device! We have a garage door that is about 1 1/2 inches off the ground so a regular doorstop just wouldn't hold it up. The door went right over the doorstop. Ha ha.
