Perfect for keeping the door open

Perfect for keeping the door open in winter. This is a colder room and we need to keep the door open to allow heat to enter. the wedge at foot level was constantly lost. It is placed in a loop where no one can accidentally move it. Of course, an idiot could accidentally close the door and break something in the process.

Works great even after excessive abuse and use

We have several of these on our installation team. We work in hotels and install equipment for guest devices, which often involves working on doors. These wedges are perfect! Using them in the hinge area eliminates the need to bend down and lift them or deal with slippery tile floors and for jobs where we need to use them under a door they just work, no hassle, no problem, no slipping.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Too long wait times

Just give it a try Door Stop

We moved out of an apartment that had several heavy, fast slamming doors that made the move a nuisance. Due to Covid I didn't want to constantly keep a dirty doorstop that was constantly on the floor. Then I found this doorstop stuck on the hinge. It worked great, used probably over 80 times. When other people saw it, they wanted to buy it too! The heavy doors left several dents in the wedge.

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Reliability

This stops the door. Best in Office Furniture and Lighting

Does exactly what you want in a doorstop. Seriously, I need a doorstop that I can hold on the inside door of my attached garage and it works great. . It has a hole so ideally I could buy a magnetic hook and keep it right next to the hinge so it's within reach when needed. It's durable and my wife even tried closing the door with it but it did more damage to my finish than the wedge. Would definitely buy again and will likely buy more to have on hand and maybe one for work.

  • A Dream Come True
Cons
  • Nothing

It worked great until today my door hinge is broken.

As a teacher I need a good, solid doorstop. After reading the reviews I bought this one. I really liked how it worked and thought I could use it for a few years. Unfortunately today it broke when inserting into the door hinge. Luckily one of my students didn't try to install it or his fingers could get crushed by the sling. This doorstop may be more suitable for home use than a school or shop with large and heavy doors. This makes me sad because the return window is closed.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Mostly good but...

Sturdy and does what it's supposed to do!

I love this weird little device! We have a garage door that is about 1 1/2 inches off the ground so a regular doorstop just wouldn't hold it up. The door went right over the doorstop. Ha ha. I tried a few different Large and X-Large sizes before I found this little guy. It has multiple positions you can use it to hold the door and it's sturdy. We've been using ours daily in high traffic conditions for a month now and it's holding up like a champ. For other doors, I'll get a little more and…
