Nice clasp. The larger part of the handle that can be grasped to open/close the latch. Works even with gloves. Keep in mind that the spring is pretty stiff. Great for a secure closure but requires some force to open.

I had these on my barn door. After someone tried to break into my barn, one of them broke. I couldn't find them anywhere locally. But these are very durable. The originals on my shed were cast, these are stamped and much stronger. Installation without problems.

Looks high quality and expensive. Easy to install and works great. It is spring loaded so works great when used for the top of a barn door. It appears to be galvanized which should help resist rust. screws included. See pictures for measurements.

Better than expected at a low price. I bought them without doing much research on their size as they were very cheap. When I opened the package I was shocked as they were way better than I thought they would be. There isn't much play or play, and the springs are strong. The screws are not pictured so I wasn't expecting them.

I bought this to replace a broken bolt that was made from cheap cast metal. The bolt hole matched perfectly. There were no screw holes. No problem as the original screws were self-drilling. So the whole installation took about five minutes to remove and replace. I would recommend these screws to anyone doing replacements.

It's a pity to get goods ordered in pairs that don't work at all. Upon inspection, I saw that the metal bolt had sheared and bent in the wrong place, preventing the spring mechanism from snapping or closing. This item will cost too much to return to be replaced. Quality control is not carried out by the manufacturer.
