Doesn't fit right

It fits but where the rear main plate meets the oil pan and where the front main plate has a 0.25-0.5 inch gap if you don't cake it in rtv it will flow like mine

  • Hoses, lines and fittings
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

picture is not accurate. 96 7.3

Does not come with new sump nut as shown. So now I had to order one. I will update the sump installation info when I get my engine this week. It looks like it is of good quality. UPDATE: I installed a sump on my '96 Ford f350 7.3 and the holes on one side didn't line up perfectly with the Morosco grommet bolts so I had to drill larger holes. Very annoying and I hope my pan still closes well.

I live in Florida where rust is not a problem, even the original on my 1996 f350 seems like a good reason to buy as they usually come with 7.3 Powerstroke is from held to a very strong RTV and when the sump is removed in many cases they bend and don't seal properly so I got these and will be using a Morosso sump gasket which makes removing and replacing the oil a breeze and the decreases chance of turning the RTV. I was also considering a Morosso oil pan but it's thicker which is great for…
