Well if you value the size you need.

Large: 5/8" length x 3/8" diameter, 1/8" hole, 1/2" 1/4-20 machine screw, slotted/Phillips. Medium: 5/8" long x 5/16" OD, 1/16" bore, 1/2" 10-24 machine screw, slotted/Phillips. Small: 25/64" long x 1/4" OD, hole 0.0689" (=1.75 mm), 3 pcs machine screw /8" 10-32, slotted. The screw hole runs the entire length of the cylinder.

Had to drill out most of the stops, use THREADLOCK

The holes were too small for a bike cable and had to be drilled. Also, the case is very fragile, especially small ones. You can't handle some clamping force or clamp pliers after drilling the cable, but you need to use screw lock because the screw may fall out due to poor quality. I'm not sure about the durability

Beetles are hard to find in stores!

I didn't really need a whole new throttle and cable for my old Gravely, just a cable stop like this that attaches to the throttle cable at the end of the carburetor cable to keep the cable from pulling too far carburetor to be removed. I've tried Menard's, Tractor Supply, Ace etc. but nobody has them. I think we live in a throwaway society, the days of a small fee are over and you're on your way. Thanks for still keeping details like this for us old school boys!

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Great price

Missing parts and incorrect dimensions

The cable size is incorrect in the Questions and Answers section. I have a 1/16 cable and 2 stops are too small, the largest stop can accommodate 1/16. In addition, some parts are missing or, more precisely, the wrong parts are included. In my case I ordered 2 pins and both had a small barrel pin instead of a stop! One note: these stops are not filled at the bottom where the screw stops in the middle and the cable clamps. The lower part is carved in the same way as the upper part and the…

  • Best in class

  • Weight

I have a custom bike. The throttle cable was longer than I could ever convince you with a simple story. It needs to be fixed after some time. Pull on a cord you can't replace along the way. super bad idea. None of the HD cables were quite right. Too short. So I got them, cut the cable housing as well as the cable itself to length and installed one of these (medium size). I've made a few changes like drilling one side of the inlet as a guide funnel as I'll be using it next at 10pm outside of…

Not my first choice for repair

First impression is that they haven't been cleaned well or deburred. There were small chips on the thread and small burrs in the trunks. Luckily I had the tools to clean them (faucets, files, etc.). The throttle cables on my VN750 (motorcycle) were worn out on the run and they are not a cheap OEM replacement. About $40 for a cable. So I got these to hopefully connect my own cables to some stainless steel cables I already had ready to cut to size. The smaller barrels fit my choke pipe and…

Pros
  • Sample for one year
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
