Great screws! best in RV Parts & Accessories

I couldn't find anything comparable at this price point in any of the big stores. they arrived quickly and work as they should. there is nothing more to be said, they turn well, if you have problems with these screws, you are not using the right pre-drill to pre-drill the hole.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Short manual

Exact replacement for the originals

I looked EVERYWHERE for these screws when I needed to replace the boards on my trailer and the only place I found them was here at Revain. These are self-tapping torque head screws (#25 I believe) that require pre-drilling in all holes. Once that's done, these things go right through your boards and trailer steel. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Crumpled

Make sure you buy a drill and pre-drill. You will also need (or 2) a good quality Torx screwdriver. Someone else makes a similar screw that doesn't require pre-drilling. I will buy them next time. They have small lugs that will poke a larger hole in the wood and then snap as they go through the metal, acting like a regular self-tapping screw.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • String is shorter than other picks

Garbage. Twisted at the first hint of torque

Terrible. The screw head is unscrewed at the slightest torque. I attached the deck boards to the trailer floor. The mild steel metal was only 1/8 inch thick, but the screws came loose immediately. Although I used the recommended pilot hole, I tried increasing the diameter a bit to get these bolts working. 3 out of 4 turned away. I gave up and bought expensive but effective self-tapping screws. Purchasing these Dorman screws was a waste of money and my return period seems to have expired as…

Perfect replacement bolt

These are excellent trailer floor bolts. I just screwed 72 of these into the bed of my implement trailer and they all worked great. I first drilled a 7/32" hole in the steel channel and then coated the bolt with anti-seize (to keep it from rusting on the trailer like the old ones) and they all went in with no problems. You can't go wrong with a torx screw, they don't break like phillips screws and they are easy to screw in and out, would definitely buy them again and recommend them.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Obsolete model

Threads curled up and won't stick

Bought these to fit a new floor in my car trailer. They were a bit smaller than what the manufacturer put in, but figured I'd use 2 per board instead of one. I pre-drilled a little near their diameter. The threads on the bolts were completely broken and flattened so as I screwed them in about an inch I was able to reach down and pry them out of the frame. I pre-drilled a little more than their diameter. The threads of the bolts collapsed and flattened again. I pre-drilled a little less than…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Functionality

Very soft. There's something wrong with that.

These screws are VERY soft and non-functional. I'm not sure if the whole model will be like this. This batch does not appear to have solidified at all. it can't be normal. I tried four in total. Everyone immediately pulled the strings. I had to pull them out because they didn't have enough threads to unscrew them with a drill. I pre-drilled the steel and 2 times with a 7/32" bit and then a slightly larger bit just for the wood. I tried 3 of these on a low speed drill with a T30 bit. Each one…
