Pay more money and get good

Started squeaking again after 45 days. The return period has just expired. Difficult install, don't look forward to doing it again.

Screws included do not fit my 93 Ford Ranger 3.0

Perfect fit, screws included, one was too long but the right size, the other too small for my ranger, either use an old screw or cut too long like me

Quality Product: Control Parts

Package includes (2) replacement 15mm head screws. The original head of the turnbuckle was 8mm. Same thread and same screw width, just more tightening torque. Good strong product.

Works well so far (2 months, 3000 miles) No installation issues but used a different screw than the factory screw The factory screw was a torx head and that was a hex bolt.

EXCELLENT PART RIGHT PART!

The Dorman 419-201 Automatic Belt Tensioner is just what I need to keep my Ford Taurus on the road. I've read a lot of bad reviews about Dorman parts so I decided to give them tryPROS quality construction, great fit and shape. Easy installation, when I removed the original belt tensioner I noticed a completely different design so wasn't sure if this part would fit. upright. And I noticed my Ford was starting to work a lot better too.

No more screeching - TEMPORARY. Tensioner ran 14 months before the squeak returned

Tensioner and tensioner installed August 2015 My February 2016 5 star review was, "Works well. NO loud, high-pitched creaks!โ€ 01 Ford Taurus It's now October 2016 and the high-pitched squeaks are back. This is a Dorman tensioner. The Dorman idler pulley still works but I will be replacing it with parts from another manufacturer as it will likely fail soon. Dorman was great and sent me a replacement tensioner. This lasted until July 2017. The vehicle has done less than 5,000 miles. I will notโ€ฆ
