This elbow is for the FRONT of Jeep 4.0L with CCV (Non-PCV) engine. I have a 2000 Cherokee 4.0L. This engine is CCV, not PCV. The rear low flow manifold and the front high flow manifold are the FRONT MANIFOLD leading to the intake box. A small flow is sucked in from the intake manifold. Cannot speak for other years or models but I can confirm this is NOT the part you need to replace the front crank from the valve cover to the piece of plastic that goes to the airbox in the Jeep Cherokee ( XJ ) '97 with a 4.0 liter engine. Stop This Jeep From Blowing Oil - Replace That Crankshaft. You can see the oil is around the valve cover.
