This is not an OEM in Automotive & Automotive Electronics

Had the same issues as the previous buyer but you got what you paid for. You can spend $300 on an original camera and have no trouble at home. I use it to connect my trailer, great for that

Easy install but gritty video

Easy install and hitch and tires worked right away. The only complaint is with the video quality. It's very grainy and the lines are blocky and not smooth like the OEM.

Doesn't recognize steering wheel direction correctly

Bought to replace an OEM camera because the original was blurry and grainy. The image quality was good, but the rudder direction detection could not determine which direction my rudder was turned. In the video, I turned the steering wheel to the right as I reversed to my garage. The video shows that he initially realized that the wheel was turned to the right. Then he jumped left, then right again.

Terrible tech support, can't do without professional help.

The camera is easy to install. The picture is not as good as the original, but that's fair as the OEM replacement cost is 1/3. My problem with that is actually the customer service. After installation, the camera worked but the instructions didn't. I've sent several emails asking for help or information and initially didn't get a response, and when I did I only got a few irrelevant replies. Eventually, after numerous emails and half-answers, I got the answer that I had to go to the store toโ€ฆ
