Well made with quality materials!

Very well made, neatly welded welds to make good replacement headers for my Titan 5.6 v8 pickup. Code P420 disappeared and I passed MOT.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Safety

Much better fit than OEM

Everything about this exhaust manifold is better than OEM and I couldn't be happier. Plus it saved me hundreds of what the dealer wanted. Other than that, the installation was quite a challenge. So depending on your skills and the tools at your disposal, be patient.

  • Price
Cons
  • Good but not great

Worked well with catalytic converters

My 2005 Nissan Titan LE had both headers cracked. The store wanted to use Walker brand replacements at $1,600 per distributor! I ordered a set of these and saved $2,500. The store said they fit perfectly, although the installation process took 9 hours on both sides. On my trucks for a few weeks, sounds great.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Bad impression

The best price for Dormanov.

I bought these to fix the terrible P0420/P0430 codes. I've ridden it about 420 miles and so far so good. He got rid of the check engine light and now the armada runs much better. The dealer wanted $3,000 for the OEM manifolds installed and I was able to purchase and install them for about $1100 in parts and labor.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • weak

Decent quality (not the best weld I've seen) and fits perfectly.

Good quality, perfect fit. A very difficult task. The trick is to remove the motor mount on the right side. But it was very difficult to get these bolts out. Once that was done, jacking up the engine gave enough clearance on the right side to install and remove the exhaust manifold.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

DORMAN LIFETIME WARRANTY NOT TRUE

Purchased and left and right fitted. (674-843 and 674-844) Completely rusted through in 3.5 years. Three and a half years is not a whole life. As per the PDF warranty instructions, I have contacted Dorman directly on a number of occasions. They replied that they absolutely DO NOT deal directly with the consumer and that I would have to go back to the place of purchase which was Revain (not a 3rd party). Revain's initial response was that this was inconsistent with Revain's return policy. After…

Pros
  • Heavy Duty
Cons
  • Communicate with Seller

Alternative to OEM distributors

Quilt Lady Hubby Review: Put a pair of these on a friend's 2004 Titan. They fit well with no leaks, but I took a good look at them before installing them as some have reported incomplete welds. I couldn't see anything from the outside, so in a dark room I stuck a peanut-shaped lightbulb on a couple of wires connected to a 12-volt battery down each tube and checked to see if there was light outside. Yes, not an exact test, but the best I could think of. Didn't want to flood her with H2O. Dorman…

Pros
  • Outstanding performance
Cons
  • The list will be long.

This is a quality part but yes it does look rough. When you get it, there's weld spatter everywhere except for the exhaust pipe flanges, so it's not a big deal. OEM is three times more expensive, so it's up to you. I swapped out the right and left sides, which is good because while it sounded like only the right side was torn, it was actually both. Just wanted to add a few notes on the excellent Billyray replacement instructions. My truck is 4WD, I would do whatever Billyray's manual says but…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Almost never
